Welcome to the Worship Experience

The Worship Experience is one of AVA Mission Africa's flagship gatherings that brings together students, teachers, community leaders, families, churches, and Discovery Bible Study (DBS) groups for a day of worship, discipleship, fellowship, and spiritual growth. More than just an event, the Worship Experience is a disciple-making movement. It is designed to help people encounter Jesus Christ, grow in their relationship with Him, obey His Word, and become disciple-makers who transform their schools, families, neighborhoods, and communities. Every gathering creates opportunities for participants to worship together, study the Bible in small Discovery Bible Study groups, share testimonies, pray for one another, and be equipped to make disciples wherever God has placed them. Our Vision We believe that every school, community, and neighborhood can become a place where people know Jesus and make Him known. Our vision is to see generations of faithful disciples who love God, obey His Word, and help others follow Christ through simple, reproducible Discovery Bible Studies. The Worship Experience serves as a gathering point where believers are encouraged, new friendships are formed, leaders are developed, and new disciple-making groups are launched. Our Mission Through worship, prayer, biblical teaching, and Discovery Bible Study, we seek to: Lead people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Inspire wholehearted worship that glorifies God. Build disciples who obey and apply God's Word. Equip participants to start and lead Discovery Bible Study groups. Raise young leaders who influence others through Christ-like character. Encourage believers to share the Gospel confidently. Strengthen unity among schools, churches, and communities. Multiply disciple-makers across Uganda and beyond.

What Happens During the Worship Experience?

Every Worship Experience is designed to be interactive, practical, and centered on God's Word. Participants can expect: Worship Sessions Students, school choirs, worship teams, community groups, and guest ministers lead powerful times of praise and worship that focus on exalting Jesus Christ. Through music, prayer, and thanksgiving, participants are encouraged to experience God's presence and grow in their love for Him. Discovery Bible Study (DBS) Discovery Bible Study is at the heart of every Worship Experience. Participants gather in small groups to read Scripture, discover what God is saying, discuss practical ways to obey His Word, and encourage one another to share what they have learned with others. DBS helps people become active disciples rather than passive listeners. Every participant is encouraged to obey God's Word and help someone else discover it too. Prayer Prayer is an important part of every gathering. We pray for: Schools Students Teachers Families Communities Church leaders Uganda The nations of the world We believe God hears prayer and works through His people to bring hope and transformation. Testimonies Lives are changed when people hear what God is doing. Participants share testimonies of: Salvation Healing Forgiveness Restored families Answered prayer New Discovery Bible Study groups Personal spiritual growth Community transformation These stories encourage others to trust God and continue making disciples. Creative Ministry The Worship Experience provides opportunities for schools and communities to minister creatively through: Choir presentations Dance Drama Poetry Spoken word Scripture recitation Instrumental performances Cultural presentations that glorify God Creativity becomes a powerful way to communicate the Gospel and inspire others. Leadership Development The Worship Experience also develops leaders. Students, teachers, community facilitators, and volunteers receive practical encouragement on how to: Lead Discovery Bible Studies Disciple others Serve with humility Live with integrity Share the Gospel naturally Build healthy disciple-making communities Leadership is not about position. It is about faithfully following Jesus and helping others do the same.

Why Discovery Bible Study?

Discovery Bible Study is a simple and effective way for people to discover God's truth together. Instead of depending on one teacher, everyone participates by reading Scripture, asking questions, sharing insights, obeying God's Word, and encouraging one another. This simple approach allows discipleship to spread naturally through schools, homes, workplaces, sports teams, churches, and communities. Every participant can become a disciple-maker.
