"Shaping Disciples Through Discovery Bible Study"
The Foundation of Our Faith
Our Core Convictions on God's Revelation and the Lordship of Jesus Christ
We hold firm to the belief that God exists and has graciously revealed Himself to humanity. The Bible, serving as a special expression of this divine revelation, reaches its apex in the incarnation of Jesus Christ. Our understanding of God is rooted in the acknowledgment of His spiritual nature and eternal existence as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, indivisible and of one substance. Jesus Christ, the Lord of heaven and earth, is preexistent with God the Father, being God of very God. He is the eternal Word made flesh, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He endured crucifixion, suffering, and death, and three days later, triumphantly rose from the grave, defeating death and the forces of darkness. Ascending to the right hand of God the Father, He is glorified as the sovereign Lord of all creation. Jesus serves as the sole mediator between God and humanity, providing the divine atonement for the sins of the world. Salvation is found solely in Him.
